Will We Partner With More Shelters?
The short answer is: Yes, that is the dream. But the honest answer is: Not yet.
Right now, PawliBar is dedicated to supporting our one partner shelter of Sister Ling’s. Even with our community growing, we are still too small to cover 100% of their costs. A huge portion of their survival still relies on the kindness of outside donations, and things are still incredibly tight.
Just like any other business, PawliBar has to navigate product costs, operations, and marketing. It takes massive effort to grow, but thanks to our team, we are surviving. Our priority right now isn't "expanding"—it’s improving our current partner shelter. We want to hire more staff, build more indoor rooms, and finally get air conditioning for the dogs during those brutal summers. We have a lot of work to do before we can reach more paws, but every little piece you buy or even just every post you share/comment brings us one step closer to that goal.
