They call him a "little monster"

I’m going to be blunt: some people are monsters. We found this boy with half his face gone. It wasn’t an accident or a fight; the marks were clean, deliberate knife wounds.

It’s been three months since his surgery. He’s healed, but he’s "different" looking. He’s become the dog nobody asks about. But inside the shelter? He’s the life of the party. He’s got so much life. He picks playful fights with other dogs and runs up to every stranger with his head tilted, curious as ever. He doesn’t know he’s a "monster." He just thinks he’s a good boy. And he’s right.
