Shelter Update — A Very Full Month

It’s been a busy month at the shelter — the kind where dogs keep arriving faster than we can reorganize the space. We’ve taken in so many new rescues that even the office is now full of wagging tails and hopeful eyes. If Sister Ling tries to sit down, at least three dogs try to climb into her lap. It’s… chaotic. But it’s the good kind of chaos.

You can see the updates on our Instagram — we post videos  so you can follow along with the new faces we’re caring for.
(And trust me, you’ll want to see the one who insists on playing with the biggest dog he could find).

With more dogs to feed, the shelter asked us for extra help with basics this month — especially rice, because it goes further when we need to stretch meals. When things get tight, we turn our Rescue Comfort Pack chicken breast into a rice mix so we can feed as many pups as possible. It’s simple, warm, filling comfort food for dogs who’ve gone too long without comfort.

Every order you place helps us buy the next bag of rice, the next round of chicken, the next stack of bowls we suddenly don’t have enough of.
And every bowl we fill turns into another dog looking up at us with that expression that says, thank you — I didn’t think I’d get another chance.

Thank you for being part of this very full, very busy, very hopeful month.
And if you want to follow along more closely — come join us on Instagram. The dogs will be waiting.
